Mineral Springs Sewer Rehabilitation which consisted of replacing 1,557 LF of 12" gravity sewer and 200 LF of pipe bursting in Wilmington is complete. It was the first pipe bursting experience for The City of Wilmington which saved open cutting Confederate Drive. Jeff Greene of KRG Construction did the pipe bursting with PHCC's assistance. The project also required a complex sewer by-pass system while the new sewer line was being installed. The Project Manager was Richard T. Howard Jr., with Superintendent Bill Privette, and Tommy Johnson Pipe Foreman. Mineral Springs Creek at Forest Hills will be much cleaner as a result of this successful sewer replacement. Great job by Tommy Johnson and his crew for a job well done.
