PHCC has completed repairs to H piles over Bunn Lake at Highway 64 in Wake County, N.C. PHCC has also completed its work on Bridge Repairs to the Deaverview Bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad in Asheville, N.C.

The project at Bunn Lake involved extensive dewatering of the work area, repairs to 40 14X73 piles with steel channels, cleaning, painting, and encapsulating supports with pile jackets. Work began on January 3 and was finished remarkably in February 2011. Tom Barton was Project Manager and Luby Bell was Project Superintendent. The satisfied Owner was NCDOT.

PHCC also finished its contract to repair the Deaverview Bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad outside of Asheville, N.C.  Nine steel piles were repaired from rusting with new plates, cleaning, and repainting. Saffo Painting and Contracting of Wilmington, N.C. did a great job with the hard to access painting.Tom Barton was Project Manager and Scott Allen was Project Superintendent. City of Asheville, N.C. was the Owner.
