PHCC successfully dredged Stumpy Point Ferry Channel in the Pamlico Sound, N.C. PHCC’s Noble Spirit pumped over  70,000 cy over 10,000 LF to USCOE disposal islands. This project opened up the Stumpy Point Emergency Ferry Terminal channel. The project was completed in harsh cold winter weather conditions and rough Pamlico waters. James Hall was Project Superintendent and Richard T. Howard Jr. was Project Manager. The satisfied owner was the Wilmington District of Army Corp of Engineers.
