PHCC has launched it’s latest addition to the dredging fleet; “The Noble Spirit” out of Jarrett Bay, Beaufort, NC. On  January 5th, 2011. The “Noble Spirit” was custom designed by Dan McDougall of Dredge America and custom fabricated by Custom Dredge Works in Topeka,  Kansas.  It has a 18” suction X 16” discharge powered by a 1125 Cat C – 32 engine to a 40” Pierce Pump impeller.

It is capable of pumping 500 cy to 700 cy a hour of insitu material over 10,000 LF of pump distance and over 5 miles with booster pumps. Accompanying  the Noble Spirit is the Noble Tender, a custom built tug/work boat.
