Paul Howard Company has begun site work on the new Lowe's at Porter's Neck in Wilmington. The 15 acre site has been cleared with erosion control measures in place. Grading has been completed storm drainage systems and ponds installed. Priority was been given to the Lowe's building pad area so they can start constructing the store. Water services and sewer services are being installed by PHCC and Well's Brothers while Young's Construction is performing the sewer bore underneath Hwy 17. Martin Fridy and Jimmy Black are the owners representatives while Tom Barton of PHCC is the project manager.
