PHCC awarded Long Island Intracoastal Waterway Dredging

 

The New York District of Corps of Engineers has awarded the Long Island Intracoastal Waterway Dredging contract to Paul Howard Construction Company. The project consists of dredging  45,040 cy of sandy shoals in Moriches Bay and pumping the dredged material to nearby beaches.  Another section of shoals consists of 24,620 cy of dredged material to be pumped to nearby stockpile beach areas.


Project start date is May 15 and completion date is June 25. Joe Edgar will be Project Superintendent and Jack Evans will be Dredge Operator. Tom Yates will be Project Manager.
