PHCC Finishes Livingston Creek Emergency Waterline Repairs

Paul Howard Company has finished it's work to repair a vital water transmission line for the City of Wilmington, N.C. The project involved directional drilling 1,200 LF of 36" HDPE pipe underneath Livingston Creek in Columbus County, N.C.  After the directional drill was completed by Mears Group, PHCC tied-in the new 36" HDPE into the existing 30" RCP water transmission line. Mears Group did a excellent job with a challenging directional drill bore. James Hall and crew of PHCC performed the tie-ins. The project was completed on a emergency schedule and transmission water is currently flowing thru the repaired line. Richard T. Howard Jr. was Project Manager and Scott Allen and James Hall acted as Project Superintendents.
