Featured Project — Indian River Dredging

Paul Howard Construction Company was selected by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers to selectively dredge the Indian River Inlet in Sussex, Delaware. PHCC had Ellicott Dredge Company in Baltimore, Maryland custom manufacture a Ellicott "670" Model to perform the project requirements.

Approximately 360,000 cubic yards of inlet shoals will be dredged and used/pumped to fill scour holes in the Indian River. To meet the U.S. Army Corp requirements to be completed by the first of 2010, PHCC will operate and pump material 24 hours a day minus fueling and shift changes. Tom Yates is Project Manager. Joe Edgar has been hired as Project Superintendent.
